Modern Apartment

For the new owner, we upgraded a modern apartment over two floors in Deptford.

In the open-plan kitchen/living room, we helped create a cozier yet multi-functional room with well delineated spaces. The existing kitchen units were retained and extra storage was built-in under the stairs to house the fridge/freezer. A peninsular breakfast bar with extra units was added for eating and as a workspace.

South East Asian Influences

The work top was upgraded to dark Wenge wood in keeping with the client’s South East Asian furniture, and colour was introduced through soft furnishings and grass wallpaper. To create ambience we added table lamps and industrial style pendants. A built-in wardrobe in the hall kept coats out of sight, decorated in a similar Asian style, to match Indonesian artwork.

Upstairs, the small boxroom was redecorated to create a new second bedroom. New light fittings and a Balinese screen added atmosphere, and fitted cupboards were reworked to provide more storage.
